Sticky Note #1

It’s 2:10 and I am still in my pajamas… I had 7 junior mints and an orange for lunch… wait that might have been breakfast and lunch.  Also.  We are out of eggs.  I  had hoped this Monday morning would not indicative of how the rest of the week would play.  But it has seeped into the after noon so…. I am banking on it.   I performed an orthodontic repair on a teen, everyone was late to school, the school secretary saw me in my Pajamas and fuzzy slippers (this isn’t unusual I will probably go in the office like this again 2x this week) & when I got the baby out of his car seat he was eating French fries. No, we didn’t stop for French fries…. And we haven’t been in the car since Friday. I unloaded babies and came in the house to have some much needed coffee and get ready for a home inspection in an hour… Walked in to living room to start paper work and BOTH baby boys are eating French fries, I cannot find the source of these fries, but they are old. Neither of them have pockets. If someone is video taping me… I beg you. Please. Stop.

I did attempt to get dressed.  I heard the babies laughing and grew suspicious so I went to see what they though was funny…  I can see where, if you are 3 or younger. the explosive quality of eggs is a laugh riot.  I am not laughing…

Follow me and watch for sticky notes… short blurbs about the lunacy in my life, that will make you feel better about yours…..

About jamiamerine

I am a wife, mom, & seeker of joy! I love to share funny and inspirational tales with my fellow moms. I fully believe that God intended laughter to be a form of rest and worship. I have a few kids. I have a few years on me. I have a great husband. And I love to laugh. I studied home economics in college, I can cook just about anything, but do not ask me to sew. In my graduate work I studied education and human development, I consider my life continuing education, my children are my ongoing thesis. If they survive that, I will let you know! I write non-fiction for laughter, respite, and inspiration. I also am in the process of submitting my first fiction mystery and have two more in the works! Mom life is hard work. My prayer for my readers is that, even if it you just have five minutes, you can be inspired and encouraged today. Keep it short and sweet... rest in Jesus girlfriend.
